What Can I Throw in the Dumpster?

“What am I allowed to throw in the dumpster?” is a frequently asked question. The following breakdown will hopefully simplify and bring clarity on the subject.
*No hazardous waste. Paint cans, fluorescent bulbs, computers, motor oil, household cleaning products etc.
*Yard waste can not be mixed with municipal waste. You may rent a dumpster for yard waste OR construction debris/ household waste. There is a separate area just for yard waste/ organics at the dump, therefore mixed loads can not be accepted.
*No concrete. This includes any other dense material such as boulders, bricks etc. A solid slab of concrete can weigh up to 4,000 lbs per square yard. Such dense material can quickly add up in weight and surpass the tonnage limit of our dumpster trailers. If you need to dispose of a load of concrete we suggest renting from a company with a fleet of roll off dumpsters that have a higher tonnage capacity.
