Can I Place a Dumpster on the Street?
Our 12-yard dumpster for an apartment clean out
Usually, dumpsters are delivered to a residential driveway. But what happens when your driveway isn’t an option or you do not have a driveway? If you plan to place your dumpster in a public area, you will most likely need a permit. Dumpster permit regulations vary from city to city. There are some cities that do not allow dumpsters on the street at all. Be sure to also check with your HOA beforehand as well. Some communities require a permit if the dumpster will be visible to passersby, while others only enforce permits if the container will be on public property.
To ensure your project stays on track, be sure to book with us ahead of time to allow us time to acquire an obstruction permit from the city you need us to deliver to.
Give us a call for more information! We deliver to the Twin Cities area and are based in Plymouth MN.
